Each day, guests who stay at Walt Disney World Resort hotels have the opportunity to enjoy select attractions, in at least one of Walt Disney World’s four theme parks, outside of regular park operating hours.
How Do Extra Magic Hours Work?
Extra Magic Hours occur either before (usually for 1 hour) or after (usually for 3 hours) regular operating hours for general admission. During Extra Magic Hours, only select attractions will be available (generally, the majority of the rides are operational during this time).
Of course, valid theme park admission and MagicBand or Resort ID is required to be in the park during the Extra Magic Hours, and you must be a guest at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel.
NOTE: If the park you plan on visiting for the day is different from the park that has Extra Magic Hours scheduled for that day, then you will need a Park Hopper option added to your park admission ticket if you wish to attend the Extra Magic Hours at the other park.
