Universal Orlando Private Theme Park Tours
What You Can Expect
While Universal offers a very valuable Express Pass service, the dirty little secret is that Universal only promises that the Express Lines will never be longer than half as long as the regular lines.
That means that a ride with a regular wait time of 60 to 90 minutes can still have an Express Line wait of 30 to 45 minutes!
We Will Maximize Your Express Pass
Maximizing your Express Pass is all about understanding how the crowds move at the Universal parks, and knowing which rides get busiest at which times during the day. We have had years of experience in the Universal parks studying crowd flows, and the result is that our tour guests enjoy Express Lines that average 5 to 10 minutes each!
Efficiency and Service
Magical Tours is owned and operated by a former Walt Disney World cast member, and all of our guides have been trained with the same high quality standards that the Disney Company is known for. We are here to make your day as Magical as it can be!
Insider Help at Both Universal Parks
We offer VIP Tours of both Universal Orlando theme parks – the Universal Studios Florida theme park, and the Islands of Adventure theme park. In fact most of the time, with a “park to park ticket” and a “2-park Express Pass”, we can help you enjoy almost all the rides at both theme parks in just one day!
Help With Ticket Purchasing
Universal’s online ticket system is not the easiest to understand, but we know which theme park ticket and Express Pass combinations are the best to have, and we can help you by ordering your tickets for you at no additional cost!
How Our Tours Operate
With over 10 years of experience in giving theme park tours, we have formulated a game plan that allows us to maximize your family’s time in the parks by following just a few, simple guidelines.
Early Start Means More Rides
Our guides will meet you at the theme park, usually about 30 minutes before the park opens, to help get your family in ahead of the heavy crowds and straight to the big rides before the Express Lines get out of control. We highly recommend you keep your mornings open and free of any breakfast reservations or other scheduled stops during your tour.
Follow the Leader
Our tour guides have years of experience and insider knowledge, and may frequently recommend things that go against what most “guide books” tell people to do. Trusting in your guide’s leadership will frequently mean wait times of only 5 to 10 minutes for most rides, when other families will be experiencing 30 minutes or longer with their Express Passes.
Help Us Help You
Before your tour ever begins, we will contact you with questions to help us plan your itinerary. The more details you can give us, the better a plan we will be able to put together for your family.
On the flip side, unexpected things can happen at the parks during the day. Inexperienced families will be caught off guard and may find their best plans going down the drain. However, our guides know how to handle just about anything that can come up during a tour, and by following their recommendations they can help you avoid many of the pitfalls other families will fall in to.
Magical Tour Rates
Compared to Universal’s own in-house tours that cost upwards of $250+ per person for just 5 hours (and that’s not even a “private” tour – that’s their group tour rates!), we try to keep our private theme park tour services as reasonable as possible.
What You Need to Know
Our Universal Orlando private theme park tour rates are based on families of up to 6 guests (ages 3 and up). For families larger than 6 guests, additional fees may apply.
All guests on our tours will need to furnish their own Universal Express Passes (in addition to their park tickets). If you need help in ordering park tickets or Express Passes, we are more than happy to do that for you at no additional charge!
All our tours start promptly when the parks open in the mornings (usually either 8 AM or 9 AM, most days of the year). However, we may need to meet your family 30 minutes ahead of time, at the park, to get you ahead of the crowds.
Unlike the Disney theme parks (that are separated by miles of land), both Universal Orlando theme parks sit right next to each other, within walking distance. This allows us to tour either one Universal theme park, or both Universal theme parks, during the same tour day – the choice is yours!
Our Magical Tour Rates
The rates listed below are “flat rates” that cover your entire family (of up to 6 people) for the time listed.
Half Day Tours – these tours start promptly when the parks open and last for 4 hours. Most weekdays these tours are priced at $400. We recommend a Half Day Tour if you only plan on touring one of the Universal theme parks. During the weekends and holiday periods these tours are priced from $500 to $600, depending on how busy the park is expected to be.
Full Day Tours – these tours start promptly when the parks open and last until 5 PM. We recommend a Full Day Tour if you plan on touring both of the Universal theme parks in the same day. Most weekdays these tours are priced at $800. During the weekends and holiday periods these tours are priced from $1000 to $1200, depending on how busy the park is expected to be.
Our Cancellation Policy
In the unfortunate event you need to cancel, we are happy to refund you your entire amount, minus a 10% planning and processing fee, so long as you cancel with us no later than 60 days prior to your tour day.
We are sorry, but due to the logistics in planning for a tour, we cannot offer refunds for guests who cancel with us less than 60 days in advance.
In addition, due to the high demand on our services during the busy seasons and holiday periods, we cannot offer any refunds for any tours booked during those times.
