Walt Disney World Resort Overview
The Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow
In the early 1960’s, Walt Disney began to purchase a total of 47 square miles of land in Central Florida to build his dream – a utopian city, showcasing the best the world had to offer in innovation and technology called EPCOT, the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow.
Unfortunately, Walt passed away before bringing his dream to life, but much of his legacy still exists with what we know today as the Walt Disney World Resort.
