Travel Protection

Even the best plans can sometimes run into a snag when the unexpected happens.  For this reason, Disney offers a great Travel Protection plan to cover almost all the expenses and issues that can be incurred when making vacation reservations, including…

This plan covers your family for certain unexpected circumstances. The Travel Protection Plan is optional and available for purchase up to or with final payment.

Eligibility

  • U.S. Residents only, including U.S. military personnel.
  • Reservations with Lead Guest as a U.S. resident or member of the U.S. Military.

Cost – $77.50 per Adult; $5.50 per Child (Infant to Age 17) 

  • Can be added to a new or existing reservation up to or with final payment.

Travel Protection Plan – Administered by Aon Affinity

  • 3rd party air booked through Disney by Magical Tours is covered as long as Travel Protection Plan was purchased prior to a coverable event taking place.
  • Pre-Existing Medical Condition Exclusion is waived (details in Certificate of Insurance).
  • To obtain state specific Certificate of Insurance (COI), visit www.affinitytravelcert.com/docs/DSP01 and select the state of residency for details on refunds and terms, conditions and exclusions.
  • Travel Protection Plan is refundable within 14 days (30 days for Utah residents) of purchase as long as you have not departed on your trip or there has been no claim initiated.
  • No deductibles.

Travel Insurance – Underwritten by Arch Insurance Company

  • Trip Cancellation/Trip Interruption – reimburses up to total trip cost of the prepaid travel arrangements due to illness, injury and non-medical reasons such as job loss, military service and more
  • Trip Delay – reimburses related expenses, up to $600 ($200 per day)
  • Baggage Loss – reimburses up to $2,000 for lost, stolen, or damaged luggage and personal effects
  • Bag Delay – reimburses up to $500 the purchase of necessary personal items if your bags are delayed 12+ hours
  • Emergency Medical Expense – provides up to $25,000 of coverage if you get ill or injured on your trip
  • Emergency Evacuation/Repatriation – arranges and prepays up to $100,000 for emergency medical transportation
  • Travel Accident – provides up to $25,000 in the event of accidental death or dismemberment
  • Rental Car Damage – reimburses repair costs up to $25,000 in the event of collision, theft, damage or vandalism to rented vehicles

Why spend time searching for the best airfare when we can do it for you? We can book competitive airfares from more than 200 U.S. cities, as well as Puerto Rico and select locations in Canada, as part of your package.

You will also have your choice of:

  • A selection of airlines based on departure city
  • Convenient flight schedules (non-stops when available)
  • Choice of flight times (based on availability)

Air transportation subject to airline policies and restrictions. Non-stop service is subject to change and may only be available seasonally and a limited number of days per week. All fares require full payment at time of booking and may be nonrefundable. Children under the age of two occupying the same seat as a full-paying adult may be charged a nominal fee. Lap infants, (under age two), traveling with an adult and originating from any Canadian city, will be subject to a U.S. tax of approximately $16.61 USD. Airlines are subject to change. Additional fees, such as baggage fees, may be imposed by airlines.

Disney’s Magical Express

If you are arriving by air, your vacation starts the moment you land. No need to hassle with luggage at baggage claim. As a Disney resort hotel guest, Disney’s Magical Express is complimentary. Motor coaches take you from Orlando International Airport to your Disney resort hotel, while Disney takes checked bags (excluding pet carriers) from the plane to your room. And when the vacation’s over, receive complimentary return transportation back to the airport.

If you prefer a more private mode of transportation from the airport, these other options are available for a small fee:

  • Sedan Transfer Service – Seats up to 4 adults, plus room for up to 6 medium-sized suitcases.
  • Stretch Limousine Transfer Service – Seats up to 6 adults, plus room for up to 6 medium-sized suitcases.
  • SUV Transfer Service – Seats up to 6 adults, plus room for up to 12 medium-sized suitcases.
  • Exclusive Van Service – Seats up to 10 adults, plus room for up to 20 medium-sized suitcases.

All options provide one-way or round trip service between the Orlando International Airport and your Walt Disney World resort hotel, as well as include gratuities for the driver.
